We are happy to announce that the third instalment of our live poetry series will be on Thursday, August 3rd at 6pm. Hosted by the Lovely Tanya Standish McIntyre featuring poets Luc Lavallee and Larry Bradley with musical accompaniment. Luc Lavallée, a poet, author, literature teacher and critic with a decades-long interest in questions relating to American interbreeding with First Nations, published a collection in 2022 entitled L'aube métisse (Métis Dawn).
Larry Bradley's work has appeared in New Republic, The New York Times, The Paris Review, and Poetry Magazine. He is the owner of Nevermore bookstore In Newport, VT.
Tanya Standish McIntyre is a native of Way's Mills, Quebec. Her 2022 book, The House You Were Born In, McGill Queen University Press - Hugh MacLennan Poetry Series, is a narrative collection which tells the multi-generational story of an ancestral farm, told in a storytelling poetic collage steeped in the Celtic spirit.
