  Discover Haiku, the World’s Shortest Poem With Angela Leuck, President of Haiku Canada   Free Workshop: Friday, July 7, 2-4 pm   Nationally-known haiku poet Angela Leuck will introduce you to the popular Japanese-inspired, three-line poem that can be written by people of any age. With its focus on the seasons, it’s a great way to connect with nature as well as explore your creativity. No writing experience necessary.     A Tanabata* Celebration of Haiku and Tanka Friday, 5 – 7 pm   Join us for wine and delicious sushi while enjoying haiku and tanka readings by some of Canada’s top poets. Special prize give-aways.
